The service

Unfamiliar is a browser extension and companion dashboard that records the public performance metrics (score, upvote ratio, comment count) of Reddit posts you choose to track. Data capture happens in your own browser; the service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Reddit, Inc.

Your responsibilities

• Use the tool with your own Reddit account and in line with Reddit's User Agreement.
• Keep your license key private, it's your only login credential. Anyone with the key can access your dashboard.
• Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse the service's API.

Plans & billing

• The free tier is free forever, limited to 10 actively tracked posts, and stores data locally in your browser.
• Pro is billed by Stripe at $10/month or $89/year, auto-renewing until canceled. Cancel anytime via the billing portal (dashboard → billing); access continues to the end of the paid period.
• If a renewal payment fails you get a 5-day grace period before Pro features pause.
• Refunds: if something's broken and we can't fix it, write within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund, support@unfamiliar.io.

Data

Handled per the Privacy Policy: your tracked data is yours, exportable at any time, deleted 30 days after cancellation or immediately on request.

Warranty & liability

The service is provided “as is.” Reddit changes their site regularly; we work to keep capture reliable but can't guarantee uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of Reddit's own numbers. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
